The 23rd Annual Emerald Isle St. Patrick’s Festival returns to the Emerald Plantation shopping center on Saturday, March 15th from 9am-6pm with more than 75 arts and crafts vendors, clowns, amusement rides, a climbing wall, face painting, and more!! As always, there will be vendors selling tons of delicious food, like corned beef and cabbage, shrimp burgers, BBQ, funnel cakes, fried peanuts, and much, much more!! Plus, the Little Ms. & Mr. Leprechaun Contest will take place on the main stage at 9am!! Your buddy BOB will be there with your chance to get some free BOB swag!!
The Humane Society of Beaufort County is bringing PetFest to Festival Park on East Water Street in Washington on Saturday, March 29th with live music, vendors, wagon rides, kids games, demonstrations, pet health information and lots more! Plus, Gina Gray will be broadcasting live from 10am-12pm with plenty of BOB gear for you!!
The Superhero 5K Race/Walk for Child Abuse Prevention and Kid's Fun Run will be taking place at the River Landing community in Wallace on Saturday, April 5th!! The BOB Street Team will be hanging out at the Extreme Warrior Mud Run at Busco Beach & ATV Park in Goldsboro, NC on April 12, 2014. A portion of registration will benefit Operation Warm Heart at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. This 7k obstacle course run will have wicked obstacles and of course lots of mud pits that are sure to be challenging, but rewarding. The event will be followed by a Bar-B-Que festival with discounted tickets all participants and spectators.
Join BOB 93.3 for Emerald Isle's Easter Egg Hunt & Festivities taking place April 13th at Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation beginning at noon. Get your picture taken with the Emerald Isle Bunny, have fun with sidewalk chalking, face painting, music, and more. This year children between the ages of 9 and 12 will participate in the first Scavenger Egg Hunt at 12:30PM. The Scavenger Hunt will take place around the Community Center grounds. Children of this age group should meet by the gymnasium doors no later than 12:30PM to be assigned to a group and to receive all instructions. Easter treats for everyone but there will be a Grand Prize for the first team to complete the hunt! There will be two more groups of egg hunters, 3 and under, and 4 to 8 to start at 1PM. There is no fee to participate in the egg hunt. Prizes will be awarded in each age group for the person(s) finding the E.I. Bunny's prize eggs.
